The year 2018 saw another incident involving Amazon deleting thousands of accounts with little explanation besides vague statements that their policies were violated. As long as all the needed fields are present, Homebrew Cask will figure out what needs to be done at install time. In a declarative language, the author does not need to worry about order. Amazon might still have deleted her account, but the content she spent so much money on would still be in her possession.
